Review on MMP Living Pet Urn Memorial Keepsake: Preserve Your Beloved Pet's Memory by Julie Sutton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incredible urn, just perfect, probably best for a dog 65lbs or under.

My 3.5 year old pit bull died of cancer on February 16th, 2017. I did everything to save him, but it was too far and too aggressive. It was unexpected and devastating. The next morning I got a call from the cremation company and I knew I wanted a nice urn for him. When it came to Revain, it was like a gut punch when I saw the quote on the cover. It took me 3 tries over 3 days to finally decide to order it and I'm glad I did. The quote was just perfect and I find it very comforting to see it on the cover. The quality is excellent, but overall it was a bit smaller than I expected, which honestly doesn't bother me. It claims to have 85 cubic inches of storage space, they claim it is suitable for a large breed dog and from my research you need 1 cubic inch per pound of dog. In theory this should hold an 85 lb dog, but I found my dogs remains, which weighed around 55 lbs at the time of his death, made up for the little extra slack. I'm sure a 65lb dog rest can fit, but be careful, anything over that might not fit.

Pros
  • Lid opening
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
