These sheets are very comfortable and very warm. I actually had to take the covers off the bed and was still able to turn off my electric mattress pad. You probably won't want to sleep in it in the summer unless you like waking up sweaty. The fitted sheet skirts are very deep and fully accommodate the depth of even a super premium mattress. Honestly, if you have a super premium mattress and want to stow it, the top sheet could be a bit wider. But this is a pervasive modern problem. The fitted sheets certainly conformed to super deep super premium mattresses, but the top sheets did not. My usual workaround is that I just don't buy sheet sets - I buy a queen bottom sheet and a king flat top sheet separately so I have enough top sheets to tuck in. However, this is not an option. in this case. If I could buy the top and bottom sheets separately I would. A note on photos - at least on my screen, black looks bluish, like a dove, but those aren't leaves, that's a photo. The leaves are actually deep, rich blacks. I'm assuming the dirty bluish cast in the "grey" photo is wrong as well. These photos need to be redone, they make the leaves look bad. I would give it five stars except that one of the pillowcases had a rip in the bottom seam. It only took a few minutes to fix the sewing machine and it wasn't worth returning the sheets to, but it's shoddy craftsmanship. It shouldn't have slipped.
