I really liked this fan. Options are fun with Alexa. This thing moves air like no other. Out of the box the only downside was that it's not a chain. The controls on the remote are fine if your wife doesn't fall asleep somewhere in bed with them and you want to turn off the fan without yelling at the speaker or whispering out of bed. However, the reason for 1 star is that it started ticking after about 2 weeks. Tick tick tick tick. The engine also starts to hum. The $45 sale fans in my boys room have been running for 2 years and are as quiet as can be. Maybe I just got a bad one, but for the price I just don't think I'd try the same model a second time.
