I really liked this fan. Options are fun with Alexa. This thing moves air like no other. Out of the box the only downside was that it's not a chain. The controls on the remote are fine if your wife doesn't fall asleep somewhere in bed with them and you want to turn off the fan without yelling at the speaker or whispering out of bed. Raised fan and replaced existing ceiling light. It is very quiet and runs very smoothly. Balancing was not required although a kit was provided. The included LED lights are quite adequate and the dimming feature is pretty smooth. The only problem I had was figuring out how to reverse the fan. A key screw is missing from the kit, not listed in the instructions on page 8. I have attached photos of the screw in question. The instructions detail how to loosen the TWO pre-installed screws that secure the upper switch housing. What is not in the instructions and what is not in the box is the 3rd screw. Update: I still really like the fan but it has too many common HomeKit connectivity issues. This is a relatively quick fix to get it working properly, but still a little annoying. If someone else comes across this, remove your fan from the SimpleConnect Hunter app, which will automatically remove it from HomeKit as well.
