Review on 💨 Efficient and Stylish: Hunter Fan Company 51314 Aerodyne Ceiling Fan, 52-Inch, Matte Black by George Bell

I looked at fans in stores and online for several months before purchasing. I wanted something quiet, no tow chains, no ugly remote and light. This was my first time installing a ceiling fan so ease of installation was also important. I connected it to a light switch on the apartment ceiling. Pros: Easy to install. The remote works well and doesn't look ugly. Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity. Modern simple aesthetic. Optional app and Alexa control. Cons: The remote control is a little confusing, you have to press and hold the light button to dim the lights, and there are multiple shortcut keys for settings. The fan isn't loud, but I wouldn't say it's quiet. There is no ringing noise by itself, but the fan hum is definitely audible. The app is pretty terrible. The Alexa integration is mediocre at best. It only controls the fan and fan speed, not the light. At least I can't figure out how to do that yet, so it's not intuitive. That seems like a big omission. It takes a good 10 seconds for a fan to respond to an Alexa command. In 2021, that's ridiculous. No other device in my house takes so much time. Conclusion: This is a good fan with modern features at an affordable price, but there is room for improvement. I have no experience with other "smart fans" but I hope that the higher price will have better specs.
