We have several 300g jerry cans and loved how easy they are to use and found we top up about 2-3 times had to. once a year. After 18-24 months we ran an oven charge cycle and 2 of our units experienced some of the same issues that others have complained about: the clear window in the lid turned milky white and the clear plastic sheet popped out of the oven. a seam holding it in the lid, creating gaps large enough for the gel beads to escape. I contacted support and immediately received a polite reply that they would replace the device, but I assumed all I really needed were a couple of caps. They shipped the caps via FedEx Express. Now I'm going to change the reload process a bit. I have already placed the canisters on a small baking sheet. Now I will also remove the cover so as not to damage the plastic window. Otherwise, these devices are high quality and durable. We will buy again in a heartbeat.
