durability! Good quality stainless steel. The adhesive pad covers a large area. .It will stay. It won't go anywhere until you decide to remove it. I attached this to the back of my shower screen to keep it from getting wet. While the picture setup looks nice with the soap dish over the large organizer, I didn't want wet soap to drip onto the bottles etc on the bottom shelf. I would love to put it under a large shelf. The big shelf is big! and strong!The soap dish is large. You can easily host one of those big luxury bars that you donate. I have a very heavy 14 ounce bar of Zote Soap and it is very reliable and has plenty of room. Decide in advance how you want to place it. I placed it a little crooked on my large shelf, so I may have drawn a line with a pencil or put painters tape on it for guidance. I'm sure it will take a long time.
