I've been using the Vitamix for over a year now, but it's not that easy to clean, especially when you have to reach to the bottom of the container and work your way around your shoulder blades. The remaining deposits became increasingly difficult to remove from the blades and in this area. I've read about removing them by leaving the Vitamix in white vinegar overnight, but the results have been unsatisfactory. this special Vitamix key I received a few days ago. Here are some tips on how to use it. Removing the bottom of the Vitamix is easy, but a bit tricky: - Turn the container upside down onto the cloth. - Insert a wrench into the round piece on the bottom of the Vitamix that faces you. - Unscrew it by turning it anti-clockwise. - Pay attention to the blade part after removing. - Gently tap the blade part several times - something non-metallic (I used the bottom of a wood screwdriver) - The blade part doesn't come off easily, at least in my case because it's my first time removing it. Keep typing. Eventually, it falls onto the cloth you placed under the Vitamix earlier. Now you can finally really clean your Vitamix. So I'm wondering why this cheap rascal doesn't come with a $500 blender?
