Do not buy. Vitamix Customer Service is here to help.

Not as shown. The blade is missing for removal. Didn't work, but now I'm glad it didn't work. This prompted me to contact Vitamix, they told me to mix with 1-2 cups of vinegar for 1 minute to get rid of the buildup of fiber strands. Well I have a lot to say about having to buy a separate tool just to change the Vitamix blade. Why doesn't it come with a blade? Or, better yet, why isn't it a tool that people could have in their toolbox, or something that could be useful for other uses aside from removing a blender blade assembly once? lame. BUT, this is a review of the tool itself and not all of my claims about other "Vitamix". For the record, I love love love my vitaminix. This is a workhorse that has served our family well
