Not as shown. The blade is missing for removal. Didn't work, but now I'm glad it didn't work. This prompted me to contact Vitamix, they told me to mix with 1-2 cups of vinegar for 1 minute to get rid of the buildup of fiber strands. It didn't work but I let them know and asked them to have a key I could buy to clean it up. Their response was that they do not recommend removing the blades from the container for any reason. They are factory sealed to ensure they leak the least and operate at optimal efficiency. So they send me a replacement container free of charge. And going forward, they recommended adding any green or fibrous ingredients last so the blades can gain momentum and mix the other ingredients, preventing the fibers from getting around the blade.
