Crash very fast You can fix it!

Great looking horns. BUT this is the fourth set I have had on both the boat and truck. They all failed within 2-3 months and yes they had extra weatherproof covers. Buy them for the beauty, not to use as a horn. After all 4 sets failed, I took one apart to check it out. Screws around the edge don't disassemble it. Remove the sticker in the middle of the back, remove the screw, remove the back. You can adjust the contact for the loudest sound by turning the screw while the device is on. WARNING…

I thought I just had a bad set.

Another year and another broken machine. I've gone through 2 sets of these and they only seem to last a year. last set worked all summer then broke down, was sent for repair, never called back, when i contacted the tech told me it was removed after the warranty period. OK. I thought I just had a bad set. Order set #2. sat all summer when I got the boat from storage. click click is all i get Do you want me lost over a client? They are good donkeys when they work. but they don't last at all…

Nice loud horn. Highly recommended.

One of the best horns in the club. If this horn holds up as good as it sounds, I'll be a happy camper for a long time. It is beautifully finished, easy to install and must be heard in person. It sounds even better live than on the website. An added bonus is that it's made in the USA, in New York. Updated May 18, 2019. After 5 seasons, my horn finally stopped working. Considering it's electric all year round and weathered, I'm fine with a 5 year lifespan. I just added one to my cart. I believe…

Stay away from Volos broken horns!

I checked before installing and only one pipe works. The second just makes one click. I need a horn on my boat so I went to a local farm and household store and bought a car horn to temporarily install on my boat. Coincidentally, that horn was also Volo's horn, and I tested it and it did the same thing as the Dominator's horn, just made a clicking sound. Wolo seems to have major quality control issues when I've tried two of their products, resulting in both being faulty junk. I will definitely…

Great truck horns that look like a spare

These horns I bought are intended to replace the original International horns that came with the truck 25 years ago. These are 12 volt horns and double beeps to clear the way ahead or to warn people playing with a cell phone to be careful driving. The audio is great and they project onto the road very well. They look even better than the chrome plated plastic blocks sold elsewhere. Easy to connect but wish the included hardware had a better design to keep water out of the cabin. I ended up…

Large horn for lighting and electrics

Purchased to replace the original horn on my 1974 Crestliner Cuddy cab. I was in a hurry to install it as I already had a boating weekend planned and the original horn was completely out of service so I had to install this one to make it legal. The device arrived quickly as promised. All parts were in the box including wire nuts and fasteners. I removed the original block and tested on a new one. The two holes match perfectly. I had to drill some new holes. I installed all the fasteners and…

Great mouthpiece but insane mount.

I bought this horn for my boat a few months ago. I like how it sounds. I've had a few close conversations with drunk boaters, they sobered up straight away! Be careful to use thick cables, they love electricity to work properly, don't stand near pipes, they can hurt their ears. They withstand salt water well, only a dry cloth makes them look like new again. Attention, manufacturers! The mount for this horn is CRAZY! There is no reason to complicate the installation. Flip the braces and you will

  • Nice design

  • Excessive price

Easiest boat/train horn

Although I chose this fully electric horn duo for a project that required a large siren as an alarm, I now want one for my truck! a tight fit where there was no room for an air compressor like other train/boat horns. We wanted everything to be electric and this device caught our attention. Upon receiving and opening it we were very impressed with the strength of the steel on this unit and the dual brackets. Once set it will not move. We connected it to a 12V battery but only 5A and expected it…
