Bought for F150 2013; slightly louder than the original pair.

I was trying to get the dB level and current draw of the originals but couldn't find this information so I knew if I could add it to the originals without a add separate relay and fuse etc. d. Since I couldn't find this information, and also because they are noticeably louder, I simply replaced the originals with these.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

This set is the same as OEM GMC

2001 GMC Truck. This set is identical to the original. All you have to do is use your old mounts. The wiring harness is connected to the horn housing. This is a great set of horns. GMC charges $70 for the horn if you can find it. This price is better than the cheapest universal horns. Just too good to be true. Replace your GMC horns with this set. Will likely replace all GMC horns, you just need to reuse the old horn brackets. Klaxon sound Excellent, very loud, no need to upgrade. Happy signal.

Pros
  • . Good product for the price.
Cons

Good loud cheap replacement

Installed them on my 2014 Ford Focus after my old horn was dying everyday. The bracket that came with the new horn had a slightly different layout than the one in my car which caused it to be misplaced so I just used the bracket from the old broken horn. A simple 5-10 minute exchange that may not be necessary for everyone. Pay attention to the orientation of the horns. Compared to my old horn, this one is much louder. Overall very happy with the purchase, especially for the price.

Difficult Installation

After checking access to the standard horn (2018 F150 XLT) it was evident that the installation was not easy. Includes removal of the upper front engine cover, upper bumper molding and then partial removal of the left front grille. The new mount holding the two horns is also poorly designed; The arms are too short and not angled down enough. The new mount placed the horns too high, leaving no clearance for the engine/radiator cover. A simple fix is to remove the stock horns from the bracket and

It Really Works - Replacement Parts

I bought a used GM car and the horn didn't work. It's okay, I thought I'd just fix it. I would change the fuse etc. Well, it's time for a review. My horn didn't work. I tried several horns but the plug didn't fit. It was almost like Cinderella's slippers. I was instructed by God to look at the horn (which was there) and write down the numbers. i found this I saw the reviews, waited patiently (checking the app regularly for updates) and it came. Plugged it in and IT WORKS! Sounds like factory. I

Perfect fit, loud and clear.

I needed to replace the horn on my 2013 Ford Mustang and it worked great. The rear of each horn/tube is secured with a 10mm fastener/nut. You may need to loosen them to adjust the position of each horn when installing. The wires that connect them together are also connected to your car's wiring on one end. The high and low horn is what you get. You can test the horn without mounting it on the vehicle, simply by connecting the wires and letting them hang a bit. I am very happy. Tip: Try to…

Connector NOT shown.

The connector pictured is from a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. The plug I received is NOT for a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. The Tahoe has individual horns under each headlight. The one on the right (in the direction of travel) is easy to reach from below, but not the one on the left. The left involved removing/loosening the headlight support frame. I wasn't sure which one was dead. I got this to just replace the SINGLE horn on the right with this DOUBLE horn and don't have to deal with the left. Page. BUT plug NOT…

Handyman says in Lighting and Electrical

it's a horn / to test it put a set of wires on a horn then plug the horn into the cab to sound the horn then repeat you with another. The included mount works well. THE PROBLEM is that the jacks coming out of the horns are in different places so my wires on the truck didn't reach the top horn. To solve this problem, I cut the longest wire as much as possible, leaving the ends of the connector. Then on the new horn I put a piece of tape on a wire and another piece of tape on the horn connector…

Almost identical to the OEM horns on my 2009 SAAB 9-5

I bought this car and the low frequency horn did not work - low tone always seems to die out before high tone FIAMM units, rarely Wiring on these vehicles. Anyway I bought them hoping I could use the Saab electrical connectors on my original horns with these new ones. Luckily it fit perfectly. As you can see from the photos, the old and new horns are side by side, almost identical. The connector layout is typical for GM products (including SAAB). Removing the bumper on my 9-5 gave me access to…
