I wanted to like this light but it just didn't work the way I expected. On the plus side, the build quality is decent and the daylight setting gives a nice bright light. However, the RGB color part is a whole different story. Instead of just selecting the knob for the color you want, you also have to press the RGB button to select different color channels to mix together to get the color you want. I found this process inconsistent and clumsy. Even with the phone app, the colors changed inconsistently at times. Most of the time, you select the color you want in the application, but it changes to a different color when you take your finger off the color wheel. Also, the lightsaber style is cool but doesn't fit most occasions or backpacks, which is problematic for those of us who bring a lot of gear to set up. If you're willing to play around with settings, this light is fine. Personally, I had better luck with Savage's small RGB panel. The colors match and you can easily select any color without pressing any additional buttons. It costs about $40 more than this flashlight, but comes with a large battery and fits in any backpack or suitcase. For the above reasons I returned this YN360.
