Review on GMS Optical® Anti Slip Adhesive Contoured by Melissa Merkel

Not forever but worth it for the low bridges.

My optometrist charged me $5 to put on glasses that I just LOVE but are missing the bridge of the nose. I have a small Asian nose, so the sticky nose pad lifted my glasses a bit, but it helps me see from the correct center of my glasses (like your lenses should). It also keeps them from slipping in the Hawaiian heat and humidity (I have oily skin!). The only thing that stinks is that I wipe the goggles MUCH more than necessary and every time you touch the pads they loosen faster. Once one "slips off," you can tape it back, but it won't stick like it used to and someone will casually tell you that you're sticking some kind of pad to your face. Luckily I found this online so I don't have to spend $5 for a pair and can always replace them! My doctor dyed them black but when I found them online I thought they were the only clear ones! They also have a black color, just FYI! See my photo - the clear ones match my black and tortoise shell frames but the black was thinner I have to say. Transparent isn't bad, although it does hold quite a bit of light. so it seems to be transparent/white somehow. Nobody will notice unless they really look you in the face while you're talking to them up close - which nobody else does. Drilling into my frame for $400.
