Great all round lens

I received this lens earlier this year and was hesitant to buy due to concerns about sharpness and chromatic aberration. I found this lens to be everything I expected from it, and I found that I just didn't care about a little softness or aberrations. I'm good with Photoshop to fix the latter. And as long as the main subject is in focus and I have a good composition, I don't care what the sharpness looks like in the corners. Pros: - Huge zoom range - Good weight/construction - Lens hood included - Absolutely acceptable images. And when you're not typing, don't worry about the sharpness of the angle of ANY lens, as you won't notice it in photos online - the vibration compensation is incredible. in a cave overlooking the street, late at night with poor lighting. Every other time it fixed, but in this situation it beeped to focus but eventually turned off. very upset as I won't be returning to Jamaica for this shoot any time soon - the slow speed of 3.5 is acceptable, but 6.3 gets too slow for handheld unless it's in broad daylight.

Pros
  • Great option for a small home
Cons
  • Some minor things
