I have to admit I have a bit of an ignorance about the mylar emergency blanket - I bought it for my very first hike (and just for emergencies, lol). But I didn't know they were DISPOSABLE ONLY! One and done! Well, for those of you camping or in an emergency, PROS - go ahead, laugh at me. I feel a little stupid for not knowing! I don't think I'm alone in this though - so for those of you who think you can buy them and use them again and again I thought this information would be helpful to you. knows! Luckily I didn't have to use a rescue blanket so luckily I can't personally tell you how well they work on that front. I don't regret buying them as I think they would be good to have in your emergency "kit" or in your car on a trip etc. I also love how small and thin they are [in folded form] in the package - it's very convenient to store and takes up virtually no space! At the time of purchase, as well as the time of writing this review, nowhere in the description was it mentioned that this was disposable. Maybe it's common knowledge, but I would give five stars if the description included this important information!
