Review on ๐Ÿ”† Keychron K3 White Backlight V2, Low-Profile Red Switch, Grey, English - Enhanced Typing Experience by Mateusz Sztrekier แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I had a wonderful Xiaomi wireless membrane. But I decided to wash it with soap. And the M button stopped working. Therefore, I ordered the same one, but without a block of numbers on the right, I paid. And then I went to a hardware store. I see these ugly mechanical keyboards, of course I feel sick, but among them there is some interestingly designed one. It was Keychron. Well, beautiful, and okay. But just in case, he pushed. And here it was already difficult to convince me not to buy it, even with the fact that the paid Xiaomi will arrive soon. Because this mechanic was quiet enough, it had a pleasant response for me, at least before connecting, when you donโ€™t know how the letters will run on the screen. However, this will be brought to the ideal by selecting switches. In the meantime, I'm writing on the brand new K3D1 and it's definitely faster than on the Logitech K380, which I temporarily returned to after Xiaomi's breakdown, because. Logitech has fewer buttons and the distance between them, or such a configuration that after Xiaomi it is cramped for me. Yes, Keychron also takes a little getting used to. But this is exactly for me, who has been sitting behind the membrane for many, many years. I tried to buy it with red switches, and now I see all the absurdity of such a desire. But the manufacturer GAVE US A CHOICE. Therefore, after a couple of days for red switches, I knew for sure that I would change them to tighter ones. Realistically, the reds have too many random clicks. And now I'm writing a review already on "mint". (see photo) Much better! It just got really better. How it should have been! By the way, in the cabin I tried different ones. And I will say this, take the toughest, so that there is more difference. Don't worry, the stiffest ones won't be too tight. By no means, they show themselves best when printed. Considering the extremely poor choice of wireless and at the same time HIGH-QUALITY keyboards on the market, it is impossible to put this one below 5, although there seem to be drawbacks. Only these shortcomings are secondary, in contrast to the dominant virtues. I probably didnโ€™t name all the pluses and minuses, but it makes no sense to sit and measure for the very reason that the market is scarce.

Pros
  • This review is for version K3D1: white illumination (D) and red optical switches. It is also important that this is written by a person who prefers membrane claves. + very cute + pairs easily with Windows + universal in terms of docking with different devices + extremely pleasant "mechanics", and this was the reason for its purchase (see below) + fairly quiet with red switches + capslock is highlighted + a full-fledged multimedia set, which, among other things, can be brought both to primary use and pushed to the secondary, yielding to the standard functions of F + switchable backlight, which I donโ€™t need, but I took a white backlight for the sake of the color of the keys themselves, with white keys I was on Xiaomi for a long time, but I decided thatโ€™s enough + from the factory there is Latin and Cyrillic. I don't need the latter, but my girlfriend really needs it. And I donโ€™t want to waste time on additional engraving, I want to go and buy right away what I need. + incredible customization due to quick-release switches, and the manufacturer has prepared enough options for everyone to get what they want in this life. + the ability to work from the wire and charge at the same time + the quality of the materials is really top, they are pleasant to the touch and durable + Includes buttons for Windows and pullers. Well, this is a separate plus in karma! + long enter, a number of necessary page and home, end, full-fledged arrows + modern type-c, otherwise there are good options on the market, but because of the infinitely outdated "microusb" I completely rejected them
Cons
  • - like ALL, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, the wireless keyboards that I tried (and there were many different ones !), it works well wirelessly only in the table area, but if you sit further away with it, stupid things begin. Those. in fact, the wireless function is only functional in terms of the fact that the wire is not on the table, nothing more. But yes, on the table no complaints in this regard. - if you are accustomed to membrane, it will seem a bit tall. But not so much as to somehow infringe on the convenience of printing. And the printing itself will depend more on the switches you choose. Reds are indeed even probably more tender than membrane ones. There is such a suspicion. But I am writing this review on it and, in principle, I do not experience any special problems. Then, for fun, I'll insert something tighter. Fortunately, this is one of her main skates - the ability to insert different ones for you. - built-in battery, and even so weak. After the keyboard with batteries, this is a little upsetting. But it is also compensated by the work from the wire. So 1:1 - again DEL in an incomprehensible place for me. For me, there is only one clear place for him - PVU. The rest is from the evil one. However, he does not decide, so I will live. But this useless backlight mode button for me to change with a divider and it would be ecstasy for me. - this inclination of the key forces you to use it with legs, and maximum ones. But it's still convenient, no matter how the manufacturer tries to harm me!
