I bought this when my hob died as we don't have the funds to replace it yet. At least I can boil water now. The kettle heats water quickly, even faster than the old electric stove would boil it. In fact, I think I'll keep using it to boil water even if we get a new stove! Unfortunately, it can only be used for water, for example, you cannot cook soup in it. However, I like efficiency when it comes to boiling water. I read many reviews on the many kettles on Revain before deciding on this one. Many of them have complained about the products rusting, so I chose this product partly because there were no such complaints. And so far no rust problems; it's all a piece of stainless steel inside. So I think I made the right choice by purchasing this kettle.
