CPU: i7-7820x.
Tomahawk (by MSI) mother board.
Here we have HyperX HX426C15FBK4/16 memory.
With no need for overclocking or CPU swapping.
For CAE hydraulic and thermal physics modeling, the system was built using Intel's compiler and AVX instructions. At least three times the performance (reduced simulation time) of the i7-3770k is now possible.
Overheating was a worry under load, but the most expensive cooling tower on the market took care of that problem.

Pros

Work performance on par with a low-end server for a subset of tasks. When under heavy computational strain, the temperature drops significantly. Numerous motherboard options available.
