I have size 8 in street shoes/barefoot and size 9 in trainers, I ordered size 9 (40) and got the correct order but it is definitely a size 8. Width fits for toe box/back but larger then your toes don't have room to spread out. For this reason I am considering returning a size up (which is why I ordered 9 at first). Arch is average, good support. Top of heel is hard and digs into Achilles tendon, will need to wear longer socks when breaking in.
