I needed to replace an old PC that was serving as the server for my personal weather station that has been running 24/7 since early 2005. This PC is exactly what I needed and at a great price. It even has a serial port that I need to connect to my weather station without having to fiddle with a USB/serial cable. The PC comes with Windows 10 Pro, which is also required to remotely connect to this PC (Home editions do not allow remote desktop connection). A big plus - NO BLOATWARE that can take hours to remove and clean. I spent a few hours installing the latest updates from Microsoft, then installed the weather program and copied all the data from the old device to this one and that was it. works perfectly. I'm impressed with what you get for the $178 I paid. Quad-core i5 processor, 500GB storage, 8GB RAM, 1Gbps Ethernet, 3 monitor connectivity, serial and multiple front and rear USB2 and USB3 ports. plugged it in and it looks like it's using about 75% - 85% less power than the old unit. UPDATE @ 6 months: The device has been running 24/7 for 6 months and is working perfectly. The only reboots were to install Windows 10 updates.
