Works great on my ice rink

I do NOT use them in an aquarium. I use them to filter water in an ice rink cooling tower. The tower is at ground level and has a lot of water circulating through it. We had the problem that the water took impurities from the air (dust, leaves, various waste that we didn't want to inhale) and as a result the dry cleaning was clogged. I installed a filter on the return pipe (tower to sump) and within 24 hours the water was clear enough to show the bottom of a 4 foot tank. I change filters every five days and everything stays fine.
