50% of the time it works every time.
At first it seemed to work. Then I did a side-by-side comparison and it's a long way. It also cannot be read sequentially. Holding the trigger and pointing at different objects will read the first scan and then adjust it by 1 or 2 degrees. That is, 60 degrees at the window goes to the wall and the stove, and they are 62 degrees. Start with the oven, which is 87 degrees, go to the wall and window, it's 86 degrees.
Pros
- Two laser pointers provide high accuracy and allow you to see the actual diameter of the target. It also indicates the ideal measuring distance.
