It seems that most of these 5 star reviews are written by casual gamers, many of whom use consoles and don't know what a true quality PC gaming monitor should be. I was shocked at how poor the quality of this monitor was compared to my 5 year old Alienware. It's very different and worse. I fiddled with the settings as much as I could to get the picture and lighting right but I was still so disappointed and it was still so bad. Everyone who saw it agreed that it was awful. As a result, I wasn't able to use it as my main monitor as much as I wanted. I think I'll only use it as a second one or maybe throw it away. You get what you pay for.
