This switch saved me a lot of trouble. I bought a bathroom for my sick wife. When it arrived at our family home and moved near the kitchen table while I prepared everything for installation, I sat down to read the manual. whopping 2750 watts. This meant that a dedicated 30 amp circuit was an absolute requirement. I was able to buy a new, much more powerful generator locally to power the beast, but no store in our nearest small town had a suitable switch. Revane made three varieties. Since such a small device has the ability to 'make or break' the entire setup, I ordered all three available versions but settled on the 2 pin unit which came with a white toggle switch. The schematic diagram that comes with the switch makes it easy enough to verify that the correct wire is connected to the correct screw. A minor annoyance: the switch claims to be able to handle up to 8 gauge wire, but it was stiff enough to get 10 gauge wire (which I used) to where it was needed. In the end it worked great for our purposes so it would still be a 5 star rating but I wouldn't want to try hooking it up to an 8 gauge. Note. A solid wire would no doubt be easier to hook up than the RV cable used for this setup, but it was worth the effort. Rubberized on the outside because it was mounted on the wall and not in the wall, it was enough. The switch works perfectly. In fact, you could even say it's "ultra-safe" in the sense that the slightest "off" finger pressure will break the circuit; Only spring pressure completes the circuit - which is exactly how it should be for something as important as installing this built-in bathtub.
