Review on πŸ“» Redecker Phonograph Record Brush: Beechwood, Extra-Soft Goat Hair, Preserves Records & Players - 6 inch, Made in Germany by Amanda Harrell

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Collects dust - and leaves behind records.

First, if you don't intend to clean your label as well, this brush is about 1 inch long. If you are not careful, the cartridge assembly will be damaged. Second - it collects a lot of dust, but does not allow you to remove it from the disk. - Third - There are no instructions in the manual for cleaning the brush or instructions for removing dust from the record. Fourth - The bristles are too flexible. .They lay flat on the record with minimal effort. You can "clean" the record with the sides of the brush instead of the tips. An animal can clean and dust a plastic disk, the properties of which allow it to pick up dust using a magnet. But who needs dirty records? Find the softest cloth you can, keep it clean, and store your records properly. This "goat" returns to Germany.

Pros
  • HOW TO USE: To clean vinyl records, gently reinsert the brush into the grooves while the vinyl record is spinning to pick up dust particles and reduce static electricity build-up; To clean your turntable, simply sweep dirt away gently.
