I bought this dress for my maternity photos. 265 lbs 5'5" 3x shirts Larger than average apple shaped arms in shirts and 2x in dresses. Looking at the reviews I was afraid the arms would be too tight. I have big arms for my body, my Upper body is out of proportion to my lower body. I don't have hips or a big butt, I'm in very happy shape. I think the side pockets help soften my hips and make my body look more proportionate. If you have wide hips , the pockets may look odd or protrude.When I saw other photos of the dress in public I was afraid it would be too tight and cut my arms.It is "tight" or fitted but the material is soft and doesn't restrict movement so I think this makes the dress fit better than having baggy sleeves.Also worried my stomach would make 2x too short.I wanted it to be floor length wouldn't mind we If it would be longer to look "prettier" for photos. I'm 5'5" and it's perfect for wearing to the floor. I can wear sandals and don't have to pick them up to walk. I don't think it would look pretty or flattering on a non-pregnant apple-shaped woman. Just a pear shaped woman in spanks because the material is sticky.
