The gamepad is of good quality, the buttons have a clearly readable motion, and the sticks are silky smooth. These are all positive features. The gamepad is the right size for my hands, which are on the smaller side. Rubber inserts are incredibly long-lasting and resilient. It appears that they are still alive on the very last gamepad of the same model. A really solid construction. Different cons: They are not errors, but rather pointless quibbles that marginally detract from the overall quality of the user experience. 1. The design has been tweaked ever-so-slightly; the x, y, b, and a buttons are all gray now, and the gamepad has a more authoritative appearance. 2. After four years of use, the rubber band on the left stick had worn out, and I was unable to locate a source from which to obtain a replacement. 3. The mini-USB connector is evolving into an increasingly rare form. 4. Android-based devices do not have a selectable mode of operation.
