This product was exactly what I was looking for: a strong clothesline that I can connect when needed. I often have laundry that I like to hang out to dry and I usually place it on some of the shelves that I have in my laundry room. Room. However, drying usually takes a while and I wanted to take advantage of our current sunny weather to speed up the drying process. Being in Portland, the weather isn't dry year-round, and I don't need a permanent clothesline that's unused for most of the winter and spring. We installed a gorilla clothesline under our deck. It was very easy; Our deck frames are made of solid wood, so the parts could be installed quickly and safely. It took us about 20 minutes from start to finish. (We stopped Blazers for it, so I knew the timing very well!) It's only been a few days (and we had rain yesterday!), but it's exactly what I wanted. I hung linen tops and pants, lightweight t-shirts and modal pajamas. I was aware of the 40lb weight limit, although the leash's strength can certainly withstand more than I gave it. The clothes dried within a few hours and it was nice to smell that fresh smell of the street on them. Much better than any laundry scent!
