My middle son got this for Christmas a year ago. He loved her then and still loves her. The only thing he doesn't like about her? Trying to keep him away from his brother and sister! My kids (aged 2, 4 and 8 at the time) loved it. They played around with the shape cards a bit, but they got bored quickly and started making their own drawings. A year has passed, my children are now 5 months, 3 years old, 5 years old and 9 years old and they still can't get enough. You don't just play on the provided board. They also carry their projects in the fridge. They continued to invent fantastic stories about each of their creations and inventions. What I love most about this toy is the endless amount of creativity that can go into it. You can copy shapes, modify them to create new drawings, or create new drawings yourself! The possibilities really are endless (unless you run out of parts!). This is a huge hit and considering the little ones in the house haven't even grown up with it I think we'll be using it for the time being. In addition, the pieces have withstood a lot of abuse. The box is in good condition although I had to go through it. My kids can be rough with things they really like. I wouldn't be surprised if I keep them for a distant day when the grandkids come! However, I had to deduct a point from the durability because of the cards. You are not very strong. We had a couple of them that met a horrible end when my 2 year old experimented with what they can endure. After that we kept them separate from the rest of the set and lost them moving, but the kids will be playing without cards so I'm not too upset about all that. the review everyone wants to hear. Not only would I buy them again, but when my youngest grows up I plan to buy more. We lost a few magnets along the way and while it's only a few (and I'm sure there will be more when we plan our next move) it would be nice to have a complete set. Additionally, additional pieces would only increase the opportunities for creative play. It would also give us the chance to get a new set of cards that fit the toy's original purpose, but I think this time I might consider laminating them so they hold up a bit better.
