We replaced our old towel holder because the metal sides would eventually bend outward and the towel roll come off when tearing a sheet off. This won't happen with the new the towel holder. That's the good news. On the negative side the towel holder allows the roll to easily free spin, so we have found it is necessary restrain the roll with one hand and tear off the sheet with the other. I'm sure we will get used to this, but for now its just a new issue with the towel holder.
