The gingerbread decoration pieces stick together and because the frosting is in the middle of the gingerbread boy and girl's bodies, you can't just leave it there and cut it made of white cardboard and then color. Therefore, you should find a pair of wire cutters to separate the pieces. However, the normal tools in my husband's toolbox were too large to fit the cutting sites and my hands weren't strong enough to punch through metal, so my husband was stuck with this cumbersome job. When he cut off a few pieces, they flew through the air and got lost on the ground. We eventually found each piece, but it took a few days and wasted a lot of time. The stamps themselves are very cute and I've made some amazing Christmas cards for my baking friends. This set isn't for those who don't have the patience, however, as the tiny pieces are difficult to arrange and even more difficult to glue together without making a mess.
