Review on πŸ–₯️ Black Aluminum Front Panel Bay Converter FP55B for 5.25-Inch to 3.5-Inch – Silverstone by Andy Thorson

Extremely strong and refined, but.

This is one of the best 5.25 to 3.5 inch converters. Also, you can install a 3.5 inch device such as a card reader. Alternatively, you can install two 2.5-inch devices such as hard drives or SSDs, a durable design that is also very exquisite. In addition, the mounting holes are drilled with high precision, making it easy to level your device. There are a few things to note though: 1) The front of the FP55B is highly polished black anodized aluminum - it's not flimsy - it might not look great in some cases; 2) AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS, this 5.25 to 3.5 adapter is designed so that the 3.5" device installed in it will NOT sit flush with the face of the adapter, but will come with a slightly recessed into the Silverstone FP55B with a beveled edge around the 3.5 inch hole. Additionally, if you're thinking of moving the unit forward just a little so it's flush, you can't do that unless you drill holes in the adapter for the screws and make them wider to give you more room to have. If you're looking for a sleeker, matte look and a converter where the 3.5" device sits perfectly flush with the front panel, check out the Lian Li 5.25" to 3 Conversion Kit 0 .5 inch bay - black. I have two 3mm Iceberg Raidmax aluminum cases. one with Silverstone and one with a Lian Li converter from 5.25 to 3.5 inches; Both look great, so it's a matter of taste.
