I was happy to find this type of window bed for my cat because it supports the bottom of the wall, not just suction cups. I bought this over a year ago. When I first installed it it was solid and the suction cups are strong. I had to move it to another window and was unable to remove the suction cups to soak them in warm water again as recommended for installation. They hold, but I support the bottom of the bed in case the suction cups fail and keep checking them. Also, the upholstery foam didn't last long and I had to replace it with something better. The original foam was squeezed into the frame and after a while became uncomfortable for the cat. The case was initially soft and comfortable but I didn't find it easy to keep clean with a long haired black cat and ended up throwing it away and using a makeshift case. Basically, I'm just using the frame at the moment. It's nice at first, but the padding and cover didn't last as long as they should for a 7-pound senior cat with a ladder leading up to the bed (meaning no hard jumps leading up to it).
