I have bought two of these in the past, they are great and my cats still use them. I decided to buy another one, but the company changed the foam used and the smell of smoke couldn't be eliminated. I tried to get the gas out through an open window for two days and it still stunk. One of my cats would not approach at all and the smell would cling to the other cat when using it. These days I hesitate to give five stars, especially when it could stop working at any minute. But so far these beds are fantastic! I was happy to find this type of window bed for my cat because it supports the bottom of the wall, not just suction cups. I bought this over a year ago. When I first installed it it was solid and the suction cups are strong. I had to move it to another window and was unable to remove the suction cups to soak them in warm water again as recommended for installation.
