A roll of sealing tape reminds me of putty flattened into a makeshift roll, looks a little messy and awkward to store. I recommend some sort of zipper in a cool storage closet. The outdoor application has noticeably poor heat resistance and is easy to become sticky when the front door is exposed to strong sunlight for a long time in summer. For the money this is a useful product, it insulates from the elements (and road bugs like spiders) but needs further development by the manufacturer to improve heat resistance in full sun exposure.
