These lamps are quite bright compared to halogen lamps. For some reason, bright light does not make the view clearer. They are no more expensive than high brightness halogen bulbs and hopefully last longer. One star removed because they claim the beam focus is similar to a halogen lamp. It's not like this. These things shed annoying glare no matter how you adjust them. There's no getting around that - either you have to point them down so they limit your view of the road, or you have to put up with the fact that they create glare that bothers oncoming drivers. They would probably be great in a projector lamp but I doubt there is any LED product that can be properly focused in a reflector.
