I bought this alarm clock to replace a very old dual alarm clock for my husband and I. A dual alarm clock is a must and I thought the large display would be good for him as he has a hard time seeing the clock from where he sleeps. Spring. worthy hours. The display is a bit bright - when set to a lower setting it's difficult to read the numbers. Setting the clock and alarm is very easy and I appreciate the fact that when I look at the screen I can see that both of our alarms are set. HOWEVER, and this is very important when you set an alarm clock, you not only choose the time to wake up, you also choose the DAY to wake up. You can set the alarm for daily work, only for the work week, or only for the weekend. This day selection cannot be turned off and I really don't like it. We want an alarm clock in our room to keep our phones out of the bedroom and now after missing an alarm once or twice because it was accidentally set for the wrong day we keep our phones as backup copies. You lose sight of the purpose of the alarm clock! I doubt I'll be sending it back, but I'm looking for one without the daily setting feature. This makes this alarm clock unreliable.
