These bulbs are currently discounted to just under $3.50 a bulb. This is a low price for a decent LED bulb. The color temperature of the light is indeed in the low 2000K range as is always claimed and as always I recommend you use a low color temperature to get the least bluish light and therefore a more natural looking light. These bulbs appear to be closer to 25w or 20w bulbs in lumens, so not bright enough for task lighting. A good choice for bedside lamps and nighttime use, but probably not for reading a book in low light. They can also be used to create mood or backlighting elsewhere, although there are a few better ways to do that. However, if you have one or more areas where you want a nice, warm, but not too bright light, this is a great option.
