There aren't many replacement compressors like this on the market today and I didn't want to use a pancake or pressure vessel shape, so having air instantly when I need it in this compact design is a good thing. I used it sparingly and for small amounts. Time but once I really had time to fill all four tires on the car the fuse blew in just a couple of minutes... so now I have to buy a new fuse, not sold by a one or two but in ten packs. So I wait for it, and literally a few seconds after replacing it and turning it on, the fuse blows again. I tried a different fuse and the pump blew out three tires and I thought I was safe. On the fourth tire I heard a definite change in the compressor noise, like it was slowing down and almost choking. Well it was... Because smoke was coming out of it! I let it cool completely and tried the last tire again. It never regained its original speed and eventually another fuse blew. When I replaced it again, it failed completely and more smoke came out. It literally reads "Campbell Hausfeld Built To Last". Very disappointed with this inflator. If you buy it make sure you fill it up within the return window as mine was outside the return window as this is what I receive when I am responsible for my service.
