We ordered this case/car mount for our Philips PET710 7" widescreen portable DVD player because it was recommended by Revain. car rides with my baby Eventually I got the thing working (failure isn't an option, if you know what I mean), but it has a number of downsides: - To install it you have to remove the top half (huh?). The presence of two parts makes installation difficult and easy to lose. I accidentally left the top on the roof of the car when I was driving away. - She's too small. The Philips portable DVD player is too long for the pocket, and the headphones and car converter also pull the player out of the pocket. Also (and this is really surprising) there isn't enough room for even the simplest of accessories that come with the DVD player was delivered. Headphones and glued-in DVDs have to be carried separately! I chose my latest DVD player because o recessed housing and while I love the Philips DVD player I would do it again if I had to remodel. The right housing/mount for your DVD player is the key to success.
