We use CD-R discs quite often here. I've been using TDK for several years now and have never had a problem. They used to sell them at our local Costco where I bought them. Then Costco switched to Sony. We immediately noticed some issues when trying to record two at the same time. (I have two DVD-RW burners on my system.) It wasn't a batch because I tried Sony a few times and encountered the same problem, also one of my co-workers had the same problem. So I can no longer buy TDKs from Costco but have to buy them somewhere else like Revain[.] (to get a good discount on them). A little less convenient as Costco is right around the corner from my house, but I'll definitely stick with TDK and avoid Sony.
