Does the job, has a built in night light and a cute little tray on top. This is my second!

UPDATED 08/24/2021: This is my second one because I really liked the first one. The only thing I would add, and it's not just about this particular product, I would add a motion sensor to turn off the night light all night. As I said, it's the same with this and similar products. As a result, one ended up in my bathroom and the other in the kitchen. I haven't decided where to find him yet, but he's in the bathroom now. I wanted to pick up my Echo Dot where I had it and I wanted it to have an automatic night light from dusk to dawn. The Echo Dot doesn't fit flush on a shelf, it also sits on the edge of the tablet. I have a light switch/regular 2 pin plug right next to it that just fits so I can flip the light switch. and further without problems. The socket inside doesn't have a hole in the center for the switch plate, so I couldn't use the included mounting screw to better attach this expander. It was still pretty tight without the anchor bolt. I haven't tried the USB-C slot yet, but both USB plug-ins work fine. The box arrived open and crumpled but it doesn't look like the expander has been used or damaged. I moved it to a different outlet to try it in a different room and my Google Mini home assistant fit the tray, just fitted. I liked that the night light was adjustable in intensity, but I turned it all the way up. The only downside I have is that the removable tray blocks part of the night light so it doesn't lift. So there is a small trade-off if you only rely on the tray feature. I really like the tray feature so I'll live with the smaller night light effect for now until something more imaginative comes along. I love that you can extend the warranty to 3 years by providing a link to your review. I mostly browse anyway, but that's a plus for me.
