The quality is good. The magnet is strong and once installed it doesn't move, at least not in the wind. The only complaint I have is that the cable from the cab to your radio is too short. I have a Ford F-350 quad cab and trying to mount it on the roof wasn't successful, I had to mount it just behind the sliding rear window on the front edge of the truck body, the only way. reach the front of the front seat. Aside from that, I used it for the first time today and got a really clear signal when talking to other riders and I have an inexpensive $39 Uniden CB radio.
