This unit has exactly the features we need for an outdoor gazebo with 6 passive speakers at a very reasonable price. Apart from a wireless microphone receiver, we didn't have to buy any additional equipment. It even converts everything to mono, which would be a problem for me on other devices. The sound is loud and clear. The only thing that frustrates me is that 90% of the time the MODE button does nothing. The other 10% can make you switch modes, but then you can't switch again. You cannot switch to Bluetooth, USB, SD, or FM radio modes without this button. You're stuck in Aux mode. I called tech support, they told me I didn't hurt anything and that I should return/exchange the unit. Revain immediately sent another unit and I received it within 2 days. Guess what - exactly the same problem with mode control. I'm not sure how to proceed. Ask for a THIRD device and hope for the best, or learn the secret to unlocking features. I'm under pressure because our organization relies on me to get the right tone in the pavilion. until I got one that worked. Then Revain sent me a THIRD device and it has the same problem. I can get the mode button to work maybe once in 10. UPDATE 2: It's been a while and I've decided that the mode button issue is unacceptable. I asked permission to send it back to Pyle for repair under warranty. After several attempts to get this information, they finally sent me a "Guarantee Packet" to fill out and include my copy number for return shipping and processing. It was a nightmare. They said to wait 10 days. It's been 20 days and I haven't heard anything. I wrote emails, used Facebook messenger and made phone calls. The first two answers were not given. The call was useless. I had to keep repeating my name, phone number, email address, etc. He said he would send me a warranty return package (which I had already filled out and shipped with the unit). I couldn't get him to understand why I was calling. maybe because it sounded like childish drumming in the background. He then said he would call me back but didn't even ask for my phone number and it sounded like he couldn't find me on the system. He really wanted the call to end. We hung up, can't get any further. I know they got the refund because UPS shows it was signed for. I'm at a loss. I will update this review if I ever hear from them again. UPDATE 3: I finally got the device back but the mode button still didn't work. In the box was a note from a technician, press slower, ie wait an extra second between presses. I have already done all bench length combinations. Trying again was no different. I gave up for a while. UPDATE 4: After the 1 year warranty expired, I opened a claim with SquareTrade. I bought an extended warranty with the original device. They sent a tag and I sent it to them for repair. It came back a few days later "fixed - soldered bad contacts". I was excited! Connected, the mode button does nothing. Called SquareTrade and they sent me another return label. This time I made a video of myself turning it on and trying to switch modes and get it to view on Google Drive. A few days later I received an email saying they couldn't fix the problem and they refunded $221 of what I originally paid. However, this is not a replacement value as the price has increased to $259. Anyway, I ordered a new one from Revain. I just opened a new block (FOURTH), plugged it in and the "Mode" button works 20% of the time instead of 10%. Still unacceptable. I can't teach anyone how to use all the features of this amp if they can never activate them! I will update this story again when the next chapter comes out.
