I read all the reviews, measured my own surf shorts to compare to a review that posted sizing (very helpful!) and settled on a size 8. Fits great and comfortable. I'm small but have large hips and thighs (I usually wear size 6 pants/jeans in Old Navy or Gap) so I often have trouble finding the right shorts and pants. Take cm or 2) Something is wrong with my phone's camera, so the shorts look bluish in the photo, not black. I will definitely consider buying another pair.
