To be honest I only bought it to use the lens. I can say it was perfect for the optoelectronic lighting that originally came with the camper. I should have read more carefully and bought the one with the switch in case mine fails. The LED bulb wasn't as bright as the other one I had so I won't be using it either. But overall it's a solid recessed light that I didn't have to take full advantage of.
