Review on Sound Storm Labs EVO5000.1 Monoblock Car Amplifier – 5000 Watts, 1 Ohm Stable, Class D with Remote Subwoofer Control by Pete Norris

I have owned this amp for 3 years now (5000.1 Evo version) and I can tell you it works fantastic! I urge you to stray from negative reviews. Most of them are probably from people who don't have enough experience to handle and operate a car radio. These are by no means "cheap components" or "inferior quality". The amp itself is actually quite large, very heavy and solid. I've used it to drive two Rockford Fosgate 12" P2s with absolute ease. In addition, it could easily drive a Rockford Fosgate 12" T0 (a very high quality subwoofer). If this bad boy can power these more expensive subwoofers, he can handle anything lower RMS (which I have also used to power the Sony Xplode and various other 2-3 subwoofers). I've never had a single problem with this subwoofer in the entire time I've had it. People who leave bad reviews most likely don't know how to take care of their audio devices.
