Review on 🚲 YSD DL10 - LED Dynamo Bicycle Light, Dynamo Bike Headlight & Motorized Friction Generator. Waterproof, 200 Lumens, Easy Installation, Battery-Free Bike Light by Nicholas Serafini

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good price at $30 all in all

pros===1. It's quite bright even in daylight.2. Mounting difficulties described by other reviewers have apparently been addressed by the fact that the light now comes with confusing nuts etc pre-fitted to the correct bolt. Otherwise I would be very confused too. Cons===1. The light is designed to be mounted to the right of the front wheel, meaning you cannot adjust it to point at oncoming vehicles on the left, e.g. B. on narrow two-lane roads. If you try to shine the light to the left, even slightly, it only shines at the front of the wheel (at least on my bike). Therefore, if you want to buy this lamp, you have to agree that the light shines straight. (I think the manufacturer could have solved this problem by redesigning the light to mount to the left of the front wheel.) 2. I had to buy a $10 Revain hacksaw to fix the screws shorten as they were sticking out between my spokes. That was also about 10 minutes of extra work.3. The rotation of the dynamo is kind of loud. But for $30 I'm not complaining; by simply listing it as Con.4. It took me a little time to figure out how to hold the assembly to match the diagram in the instructions. However, it helped that I was expecting something like this based on other reviewers' descriptions of the difficulty with the instructions. Once I figured out what the picture showed, installing the light was pretty easy.5. When your bike stops, the light will also stop glowing. There is no capacitor or extra battery to keep the light on for seconds or minutes. But then again, for $30, I expected that.
