This splint is very well made with high quality materials. It's very simple and doesn't contain anything you don't need. 140mm is also the most suitable length for most medium to wide focal length lenses. Longer slides (200mm) may block your lens's field of view. The quality and construction of this slide comes close to the quality of things you can buy at RRS. I have tried (and returned) the knot guides from Neewer but their quality and construction can't compete with this guide - the ArcaSwiss clip for them was really poorly made. The knot spacing on this slide is correctly measured from the camera clamp, on most Chinese rails it is measured from the other end of the rail for unknown reasons. This rail also has a thinner profile than most Chinese ones.
